Opportunities for Businesses

DSBDA partners with Local Puerto Rican artists to create the Paseo Boricua Gallery & Gift Shop at 2636 W. Division Street

The Gallery showcases their talent and add to the cultural districts presence. Musicians, singers, poets, visual artists, comedians and many others have shared their works at the Gallery. The Gallery is also home to Galeria Cuca, one of Chicago’s most visible Puerto Rican Artsist in Chicago. If your looking for a special gift or souvenir our gift shop has unique handmade Puerto Rican crafts and art for sale.

DSBDA works on finding opportunities that help local businesses succeed.

The PRCC has developed a new department for Economic Development that will be working along the side of DSBDA.  Our organization received a small grant to be able to establish a Neighborhood Business Development Center (NBDC) to support small businesses and entrepreneurs of the community.  This initiative complements the efforts of DSBDA. Nadya Henriquez Lowy has been assigned to the PRCC Economic Development Department as NBDC Administrator.

PRCC welcomes Nadya in her new role!  With the help of Eduardo Arocho Nadya hopes to develop a relationship with current businesses and entrepreneurs to aid in the economic development of Paseo Boricua and increase customer traffic to the area of Humboldt Park.   Below is the NBDC flyer for this new initiative.
